Here is a small recap of the brooklin spring fair winch jam. Lots of sick tricks went down over the weekend, in the end taking the big cash prizes for the best overall riders were Dary Znebel for wakeboard and Nic Harlos for wakeskate.

Mark your calendars this month for Wake Dans Rue (winch contest) in Drummondville, QC on June 19th, and also Canada's ONLY and BEST cable contest; the 5th annual Ca$h and Crash is going down at the Beach Club in Point Calumet, QC on June 20th. Also coming up July 10th will be the second Wake Dans Rue stop in Trois-Rivières, QC. So come on out, say "bonjour", shred some rails, and finish it off with an authentic poutine tabarnak! haha

The Crew at Half Cab Productions headed up the Pats cottage for two days of riding. On day one they made a fun 30 foot long up rail to session. For the second day they added a 12 foot flat to it and landed some pretty tech tricks. Check out the video to see all the action from the weekend....

Rails are sweet. Your the new 09 Rail champ, how does it feel?
To tell you the truth it feels weird. I’m super stoked though cause it’s the first time I have ever taken first.
Canadian girls kick ass on rails. How cool was it to have a legit amount of competitors in the rail contest?
It was awesome; the girls are really pushing it. Especially on the rails, the Quebec girls are kicking butt! Have you ever seem Marie-Line Ouellet or Laurence Daoust ride the system 2? They are amazing!...

Red Bull Winch Masters On July 31st the top 24 wakeboarders and wakeskaters from North America were shuttled from Toronto to Deerhurst Golf Course and Resort to compete in the first ever Red Bull Winch Masters.
